Chatfield Drilling Inc, is proud to announce the addition of a track machine to our fleet. The machine was completed in late September and is a long awaited and much requested part of our equipment group. The unit is primarily designed for geotechnical and shallow environmental borings and is equipped with Diedrich auto sampler, mud pump, and re-designed rotary head allowing both high speed coring and high torque auger drilling. ESTABLISHED IN 1967 as a water well drilling and pump service company, Chatfield Drilling, Inc. entered the environmental drilling field in 1983. The firm is a PA DOT Prequalified Drilling Contractor and has an extensive background in cable rig, air rotary, and hollow stem auger drill methods, as well as pump installation, testing, repairing, and well and water systems design. We have vast experience in systems controls, systems maintenance, and water treatment techniques and equipment in both private sector and industry for virtually all sizes of systems.
